Ingredients:
1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes 2 tablespoons olive oil 4 garlic cloves, minced salt and pepper
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined salt 4 tablespoons olive oil 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced 1 to 1-1/4 teaspoons red pepper flakes
Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in pot over medium heat and add garlic. Cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Add tomatoes and simmer 15 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Put aside.
Season shrimp with salt. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat. In two batches, cook shrimp until opaque. Transfer to plate.
Add remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes to pan and cook until fragrant (about 1 minute). Add marinara and bring to a simmer. Return shrimp to pan and simmer for 1 minute.
